Survival rates and causes of mortality of Testudo graeca hatchlings in southwestern Spain.

Fifty-nine newly born individuals of Testudo graeca were followed under natural conditions by means of thread-trailing, from august-september until their death, disappearence or release. No conclusions, only facts.

Se siguieron 59 individuos recién nacidos de Testudo graeca bajo condiciones naturales por el método de rastro-hilo, desde agosto hasta septiembre hasta su muerte, desaparición o suelta. No hay conclusiones, solamente datos.
