Literature review of the effects of roads and railways on wildlife, legislation framework in Catalonia to avoid impacts of roads and railways on wildlife and three researchs projects carried out in this region. First one were focused on the use of transversal structures as wildlife passages, second one on road casualties and third one on the use of adjacent areas to the causeways as habitats for small mammals and birds.

Revisión bibliográfica sobre los efectos de carreteras y ferrocarriles sobre la fauna, marco legislativo en Catalunya sobre como prevenir y corregir impactos de carreteras y ferrocarriles sobre la fauna y resultados de tres experiencias llevadas a cabo en esta región. El primero de ellos se centra en el uso de estructuras transversales como pasos de fauna, el segundo en el atropello de animales y el tercero en el uso de las superfícies adyacentes a las calzadas de las carreteras como hábitats para pequeños mamíferos y aves.
