This study reports that most resident adult red foxes used roads as the limits of their home ranges. One adult female, however, included one important road within her home range, and dispersing juvenile individuals crossed roads while looking for a place to establish a territory. The implicit conclusion is that, in his study area, roads were avoided during daily movements but they did not act as a barrier to fox movements.
