Áreas Importantes para la Conservación de las Aves y la Biodiversidad (IBA)

The Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas in Spain (marine and terrestrial) (IBA) are those areas where a significant part of the population of one or more bird species considered priority by BirdLife are regularly present. They are the result of the inventory carried out by SEO/BirdLife in 1998 with the incorporation in 2009 of the inventory of Important Areas for the Conservation of Seabirds in Spain.
