La distancia al pueblo más cercano y la distancia a la carretera asfaltada más próxima se incluyeron entre las variables explicativas. Los resultados demostraron que el área ocupada de forma permanente por los osos (hábitat idóneo) tenía la mitad de la densidad de carreteras que se encontraba en el hábitat secundario.
